FACILITIES

BF Metal operates a fully computerized steel fabrication facility in a 5.5-hectare area in Manila with the following features:

  • Rated Monthly Capacity of 2,000 tons of various fabricated steel products
  • CNC controlled drilling, punching, coping and cutting machines to ensure accuracy and precision
  • Enclosed Grit Blasting (4m x 22m – 2 units) and Painting Area (15m x 60m – 2 bays)
  • Enclosed Piping Spool Fabrication Area (15m x 100m)

FICEP DRILL MACHINE

  • Fully automated drilling system for beams, channels, angles and heavy plates
  • Designed to work in conjunction with cold saws and material handling system
  • Can process a beam at 2400mm maximum height and 1200mm maximum width
  • Maximum drilling capacity of 75mm thick and 40mm diameter hole
  • With 3 simultaneous axes, 2 horizontal drill heads, 1 vertical drill head and 3 spindles for each axis

ROLLED SHAPE THERMAL COPING

  • Fully automated thermal coping machine for rolled beams, channels and angles
  • With robotic torch which can cut overall dimensions of 12000mm long and 800mm wide x 500mm high

PLATE SHAPE CUTTER

  • Fully-automated gas/plasma shape cutting machine (nesting)
  • With 4000mm cutting width and 1200mm cutting length
  • With one plasma station and two oxy fuel torch stations
  • Burny 3 CNC microprocessor control with full color graphics

PUNCHING & DRILLING

  • Fully automated gusset drilling/punching system for gusset plates, base plates, splice plates and other detailed plates
  • Can process a plate with maximum width of 750mm and maximum length of 2000mm
  • With a maximum drilling capacity of 100mm thick and 50mm diameter hole
  • Has a 100 ton capacity punch with maximum thickness of 22mm and maximum diameter of 26mm

OTHER FACILITIES

BF Metal has another fully staffed and operational facility in Jasaan, Misamis Oriental (Northern Mindanao), Philippines. Our additional 6.2-hectare steel fabrication facility is a fully covered fabrication and lay-down yard. Another 50-hectare space is being developed for modular assembly. It has its own port area with a depth of 12 meters and can accommodate various types of vessels.
